Past Meets Present in Modern Designer Wall Decor

Furniture designers are beginning to explore new avenues in room décor and designer furniture accessories. Traditional décor included bowls and catalogs for the living room table, dining room centerpieces, and pendant or floor lighting. Presently we see design that does not use dimension, rather displays of color and shape frame furnishings already present in the space. The rise of Blick appliqué wall décor opens the door to other varieties of adhesive instant room design. The product above contains a direct example of where this aesthetic is headed. In a departure from mere colorful circles and squares, wall accessories have become more directed and illustrative. This designer quality expressed here, for example, resembles early nineteenth century science diagrams in an age of weights and measures. What better room for this than the kitchen, we suppose?

Maybe the best thing about this easy decoration is easy removal. Also, no storage space is necessary. Feel free to try it out with no risk to your expensive designer furnishings.
